Forsyth Creek Week: March 20 – March 28

Looking for something new to do with the kids? Get ’em outdoors and immersed in Mother Nature during Forsyth Creek Week with the new “Cache in, Trash out ” geocaching trail in Kernersville. Geocaching is like a scavenger hunt using GPS. It’s easier than you think and all you need is a smart phone! Here’s another way to get the kids outdoors during Creek Week: Print out one of the Lenny the Lifeguard coloring pages and enter the finished product in our “Flat Lenny” photo contest.

Forsyth Creek Week runs March 20-28 and offers a pandemic-friendly mix of virtual events, self-guided events and limited-attendance, socially distanced outdoor events – all designed to help us enjoy and appreciate our local waterways. Check out our web pages with activities for kids, teens and home schoolers. Expose your kids to all the good things that our waterways provide. Get all the details at ForsythCreekWeek.org!
