Located in Winston-Salem, The Little Deer offers a unique photography studio concept exclusively for independent sitters through age 6. Beautiful window light makes for joyful, warm images no matter the temperature outside. No scary strobes or equipment to trip over, no cumbersome props or sets. The relaxed, open environment provides a cozy space for fun and play. Small children with busy hands can choose from an assortment of natural wood toys, or bring some balloons and a special lovey from home to commemorate a special milestone. Mt. Pisgah Weekday School and Summer Camp
Mt. Pisgah Weekday School is a faith-based preschool and has been committed to educating children for over 40 years and continues to provide a nurturing and loving environment that sparks imagination and ignites early learning. The teachers at Mt. Pisgah Weekday School are creative, engaging, and dedicated. They are currently enrolling for the 2021/2022 school year!
Join them for Summer Camp! They have two sessions (June 22-24 and June 29-July 1). Week one students will enjoy singing and exploring different types of music with their music specialist. Mixxer Community Makerspace Programs for Tweens & Teens
The most exciting summer education programs for students in grades 6 -12 can be found at Mixxer Community Makerspace. Their STEAM Education Experiences for this summer include camps in Fashion Design, Electronics/Coding, Urban Design, Book/Print Making, Video Game Design, Design with Nature, and two Rocket camps.
Generous donors and sponsors have made it possible for some of the one-week programs to be offered for as low as $25 per student! Every student will receive lunch every day and all supplies needed are included.
Most programs are 4- or 5-day camps that start at 9am. Introduction to Video Game Design and Introduction to Electronics and Coding are a 3-hour session on a Saturday afternoon. Mad Splatter Summer Camp 2021
Six full weeks of fun at Mad Splatter this summer! Sign up for the whole week or just a day! ($175/Week or $40/Day) Each week is themed with new projects for a summer of creativity. Each week will consist of a variety of pottery, canvas and other projects based on the camp schedule.
