Summit Summer at Summit School

• The teacher behind Fashion Inspiration worked closely with Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.
• The CSI: Summit teacher holds a PhD in Chemistry and spends many hours planning and preparing the camp crime scenes.
• Camp We Wonder started as a camp in the backyard of a ninth grade English teacher.  She brought it to Summit Summer and now is the force behind Extreme NC Adventures.
• Dodgeball for Geniuses is the brainchild of a sixth grade English teacher who loves sports and strategic thinking.
• A fourth grade teacher who loves bird watching and knitting developed two delightful camps called Let’s Fly and Nifty Knitters.
• The Maker Camp teachers are real-life MacGyvers!

 

Montessori Preschool Open House

With 57 years of academic excellence, Kernersville Moravian Church Preschool provides Montessori classes for ages 2-5. Their research-based curriculum prepares children to excel in school and fulfill their unique potential. Camp SAY: A Life-Changing Summer Camp for Kids & Teens
Who Stutter

Camp SAY combines the highest-quality, traditional summer camp experience, with activities and programs that empower young people who stutter. Their 2-week sleep-away camp is located on a 500-acre, American Camp Association (ACA)-accredited facility, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains (near Asheville). They welcome children and teens who stutter, ages 8-18, and their young family members and friends. Campers are engaged in a virtually unlimited range of activities, including Arts & Crafts, Sports, Water Activities, Equestrian Program, Outdoor Activities, and Communication & Skill-Building Activities. Speech Therapy is available too, with individual and group sessions, personalized to fit each child’s unique communication goals. Financial Aid is available, on a need-basis, for tuition & travel.
