UNCSA’s The Nutcracker

There are still several performances of UNCSA’s cherished ballet, The Nutcracker, left! So if you haven’t gone yet, don’t miss this magical event. Remaining performances at the Stevens Center in downtown Winston-Salem include Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m.; Dec. 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 21 and 22 at 2 p.m. One of the great things about The Nutcracker is that it has something for all ages. Young children are entranced by Mother Ginger and her children, the baby mice, the Christmas tree, and the magical dancing. Adults are reminded each year that right here in Winston-Salem, we get to see top quality dancing, excellent live music performed by a full orchestra, and beautiful sets and costumes all created by faculty and students at UNCSA. We have the opportunity of seeing dance at the highest level without leaving town! For more information visit the UNCSA Nutcracker web page. Buy tickets at the website or you call 336-721-1945.
