Sci-Fi Sunday – March 22nd, 1—5p
Come to the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem on Sci-Fi Sunday and encounter stellar characters from distant galaxies and alternate universes. The Ghostbusters crew will be in attendance from 1-4pm. Challenge yourself in an outer space obstacle course, practice your saber skills, create fun crafts, and more! Registration not required, but pre-registration is available online. CMWS is only open for this fundraiser and proceeds benefit the CMWS Education Department.
Please note special pricing for Sci-Fi Sunday—$8/member, $10/nonmember. Visit the website www.childrensmuseumofws.org for other March activities such as: Brain Power Day, Signing and Singing, Small Fry Friday, Hippity Hoppi-tea Party, and others. As always, there are changing art projects and guided art in the art studio.
Montessori Preschool Open House
With 57 years of academic excellence, Kernersville Moravian Church Preschool provides Montessori classes for ages 2-5. TMoM’s Get Active Event
“GET ACTIVE!” is an upcoming FREE event sponsored by Triad Moms On Main. This will be a showcase of art, sports, and recreational activities for kids. Browse the booths and find a sport or recreational activity that fits the interests of your child. We hope that everyone will find something of interest. Our event will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Starmount Presbyterian Church Preschool parking lot in Greensboro, NC. Each vendor will have space to display information and talk to guests. We will also have live demonstrations where vendors may lead kids in dance, put on a short play, demonstrate some mad soccer juggling – and encourage the audience to GET ACTIVE! March Kids Morning Out is Coming Up!
Mark your calendar for Monday, March 16 at Salem Gymnastics. Forsyth Family magazine is hosting Kids Morning Out from 10 to 11:30 am. Admission is FREE for the event. Come see all Salem Gymnastics has to offer with a variety of individual activity stations. Each adult also receives 4 tickets to the fabulous prize board drawing.
