“The stockings were hung by the chimney with care…” and quick reminder that it’s up to YOU to fill those stockings! It can be easy to leave these smaller gifts until right before Christmas, focusing instead on the larger items. And yet, with just a little thoughtfulness, stockings can contain gifts that surprise and delight – and even gifts that the recipient can actually put to use, too.

Here are some ideas stocking stuffers ideas for everyone on your list this year. (I’ve separated them into a “Kids” category, an “Adults” category, and an “Anyone” category!):

Kids Stocking Stuffer Ideas:

Calculator: My sister said her kids (ages 6 and 3) just used some of their money to buy calculators from the dollar store and they haven’t put them down since. I think this would be so fun to include in a stocking for kiddos!

Tonies/Yoto: Our family LOVES our Toniebox, and one of my favorite things is that the Tonies that power the Toniebox make the perfect small gifts (for Valentine’s Day, the first day of school, and – most relevant to this list – Christmas stockings! Yoto is another similar option!

Markers/Pens: Include a couple of extra special markers or pens for your art-loving child.

Keychain: My first grader has quite the keychain collection on her backpack, and I know she’s not alone when it comes to being keychain obsessed. Find a cute for a stocking – maybe even one with your child’s initial to make it extra personalized!

Anyone Stocking Stuffer Ideas:

Lip Gloss/Lip Balm: Everyone needs a little extra hydration for their lips this time of year. A lip gloss or balm will be something they’ll use for sure! (Tip: Look for one with clean ingredients. Eos lip balm, for example, tends to be a great choice!)

Hair Tie/Scrunchie/Claw Clips: Ask any girl or woman and she’ll tell you there’s no such thing as too many hair ties or scrunchies!

Fuzzy Socks: No explanation needed for these. 😊

Card Game: Pop a favorite like Old Maid, Go Fish, or just a plain deck of cards into a stocking.  Dutch Blitz is a fun fast-paced card game for 8+.

Snacks: Some of my top picks are Smart Sweets, granola bars, mixed nuts, gum, and mints!

Silicone Straws: These are handy for anyone to have. Our whole family loves using them for smoothies, and you can even get travel-friendly versions for sustainability-minded folks.

Hand Sanitizer: Not especially exciting, perhaps, but definitely comes in handy! You could make it more fun by going with a brand like Noshinku. I looooove their hand sanitizer, and the size is unique. (Plus, they’re refillable!)

Adult Stocking Stuffer Ideas:

Hand Cream: Dry hands love having this at the ready in the winter.

Dental Floss: My personal pick is Cocofloss. More of a splurge for floss, but TRUST ME!!! (TMoM owner who also happens to be a Dental Hygienist seconds this is her pick)

Fulton & Roark Solid Cologne or Bar Soap: Pop one of these into a stocking (for a guy or girl) and you’ll get to tell them it’s not only something that smells amazing, but it’s also by a Winston-Salem brand!

Portable Phone Charger: No one is ever sad to have one of these available!

Good Pen: “Good” is so important here. Personally, I think these are always a slam dunk.

Shower Bomb: Not everyone takes baths (raises hand…), but shower bombs are a way to add a bit of extra self-care and relaxation to anyone’s shower.

Bud Vase: I always love finding small gifts like this in my stocking! Not only are they beautiful, they’re also functional.

Luggage Tag: You could get it personalized if you want to go the extra mile.
