Ava’s Cupcakes is not only an award-winning bakery, but a home away from home for owner, Michelle Spell and her daughter Ava. Originally founded in Rockaway, NJ, the bakery has been providing mouth-watering desserts for 10 years this month. In October 2019, they opened the first North Carolina location in Clemmons. It is located at 1483 River Ridge Drive. There is now also a second NC location in Winston-Salem at 1539 Hanes Mall Boulevard.

Michelle previously won Cupcake Wars on Food Network. Ava’s Cupcakes has also been featured in many numerous publications and programs.

The bakery is named after her daughter, Ava. She and Michelle love cooking together. To them Ava’s Cupcakes is more than just desserts. It is a chance to celebrate life and special moments with their guests. Best of all, everything is made from scratch in their kitchen.
