Let’s Celebrate the Winter Olympic Games! Win a Free Children’s Book About Ice Skating + a Semester of Learn to Skate…Three winners will be announced!

Lance Travis, an ice skating instructor at The Greensboro Ice House, as well as a US National Junior Pair Champion and US National Senior Pair Bronze medalist and international medalist, wrote and illustrated ” Audrey’s Awesomesauce 1st Competition,” a book about a young girl’s first ice skating competition as a way to inspire kids to skate and give them an idea of what to expect when competing. Moms will appreciate that there is also a keepsake page in the book where kids can record their very first competition experience.

Additionally, Greensboro Ice House is offering a semester of “Learn to Skate” classes along with each book. Learn to Skate classes are for students ages 4 to adult – beginners to advanced skaters. Classes begin with the fundamentals and progress to more advanced and specialized skills, for both figure skating and ice hockey.
