Hey everyone, the Mean Bean crew is back again to let Moms on Main readers know about some of the awesome things we have planned for this coming school year. First off from everyone here at the Mean Bean we want to wish everyone a safe and happy school year. Next up, we are happy to announce we will be hosting an open mic night with the Greensboro Music Academy on Sept. 5th from 4:30-6:30 PM. We hope that this will be the first of many events that we get to host with the GMA. Come out and enjoy some of our local youth’s performances.
With the school year starting back up we would also like to offer our services to host your local book or service clubs. With our spacious seating, relaxed atmosphere, and awesome refreshments the Mean Bean is a go to destination for any club looking for a welcoming place to host a meeting. Speaking of school, we will be soon offering coupons for Greensboro Day, Grimsely, and Page. We will be offering them to students and faculty. Check with the administration of your school for our coupons. If your school was not mentioned on here and you think there would be a big demand for this program, let us know. We are always open to suggestions.
Fall is our favorite time of year around the Mean Bean. The days get a little cooler, it’s the perfect time of year to go to the mountains to see the changing of the leaves, and of course pumpkin spiced everything. That’s right we will be offering a fan favorite and often requested, pumpkin spiced lattes, pumpkin pie mochas and Frappes from Sept. 1st till the end of the holiday season. Come on down and celebrate the changing of the seasons with us.
We would also like to take a moment to thank all of the moms that have come out and supported us so far. We have been humbled and overjoyed by the number of moms from Moms on Main that have come out and the overwhelmingly positive feedback we have gotten so far. We strive to provide the most comforting atmosphere possible to all of our customers, but we did pay a little bit extra attention to parents. We know that it can be difficult to go to a coffee shop with little ones and have a moment to enjoy your coffee. So the fact that our kid’s corner has been so successful is music to our ears. As a relatively new company we are still continually changing and improving so thank you to everyone who has been part of the ride so far. We look forward to seeing you at the Mean Bean soon.
