Your Child’s New “Home Away from Home!”

Rainbow Child Care Center offers a variety of age- and developmentally-appropriate early education and child care programs, tailored for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Rainbow schools utilize The Creative Curriculum® as a foundation for the classroom structure and environment. Rather than traditional worksheets, they use real materials to teach children the skills they need for academic success; blocks to learn about shapes and sizes, paint to teach colors, and music and movement to teach letters and sounds. The Creative Curriculum® also understands that children thrive the most when their education is individualized. Their classrooms are set up with interest areas including blocks, dramatic play, art, library, science discovery, sensory, music and movement, and outdoors exploration to ensure children are engaged in active learning.

A Unique Birthday Party Idea

Ever planned a child’s birthday party? If so, you are likely looking for:

·  A unique venue that is different than the last three parties your child attended
·  A place with fun activities that will keep your group occupied
·  Party planning and execution assistance to make it easier on you

We’ve got just the place – the Winston Cup Museum! Their race car museum is full of cool cars and interactive racing games that boys and girls alike will enjoy. Over the years, they’ve hosted parties for kids of all ages in their 10,000-square foot space. With two party packages, they provide options for busy moms and dads needing a little help or a lot of help in pulling off the perfect birthday party. They can also go a step further and provide a photographer, tents, additional décor and other add-on services. Interested in learning more? Raise the Moon by Peppercorn Theatre

During January at Kaleideum North, Peppercorn Theatre at Kaleideum is presenting Raise the Moon, an original theatre work by Becca Drew Ramsey and directed by Lisa Chambers.

Once there was a girl who was tied to the moon … and a boy who pulled in the tide. The girl longed to swim in the sea, and the boy longed to dance in the stars. But they knew, too, that the stars and the sea might raise a storm. This beautiful story is told through dance, poetry, and live music.

Raise the Moon is “Theatre for the Very Young.” These visually stimulating performances are designed for babies, toddlers, and caregivers. Upcoming performances at Kaleideum North:
