Veteran’s Day Weekend Demonstrations

FreeIn observation of Veterans Day, rangers and park volunteers will fire reproduction muskets and a 6-pounder cannon. Weapons demonstrations will occur on Saturday and Sunday, November 9 – 10, at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.
Learn about the advantages and drawbacks these weapons had, specifically in the context of their use during the Battle of Guilford Courthouse.
Caution: weapons demonstrations can cause hearing loss. Guests are encouraged to cover their ears or bring ear plugs to wear.
