Suzy Fielders
Co-Manager – Email
Suzy was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC and is now raising her teen and infant daughters here. She and her oldest daughter started the homeschool journey in 2018 and love it. She received her B.A. in Communications and Psychology from Coker College in SC and her M.A. in Communication Studies from UNC-Greensboro. After working in marketing since 2007, she tried a change of pace in 2019 when she became the G.M. at Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park in Winston-Salem. It was an absolute blast and she loved being able to see all the happy, smiling faces. In 2021, she decided to branch out from freelance writing to full-time writing and helps small businesses and mompreneurs with their content marketing. When not writing, she loves spending time with her daughters and husband! She has loved blogging for TMoM over the years and working on the sales team, and is very excited to become the new co-manager of the site!
Sandy Harper
Co-Manager – Email
Sandy has called the Triad home since her parents moved here when she was three years old. She recently moved to the small foothills town of Boonville. This put her family closer to the mountains and lots of adventure. Before having children, she was an educational tutor for 13 years at Sylvan Learning Center. She also worked in public relations with a local music production company. Mixed in all of this, she would write for different local sites and publications, including TMoM. Now she is a wife to an amazing, supportive man and a mom of three wild and free kiddos. She homeschools, loves all things nature and the outdoors, writing and a good cup of coffee. She is thrilled to be a part of TMoM!

She is also a classroom teacher at The North Carolina Leadership Academy and teaches enrichment programs at Greensboro Day School in the summer. Ashleigh and her husband have lived in Greensboro, Jamestown, or High Point all their lives and love living in the area raising their children, Bryce and Savannah. They feel a strong connection and sense of community in the Triad and never want to leave!
Dani Luft
Sales Rep. – Email
Dani is a third-generation native of Greensboro. She received her B.A. from University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!), and moved to New York City to receive her Masters in Education. After meeting her husband, Ryan, they moved to Greensboro in 2006. Dani is currently teaching Kindergarten Hebrew and Judaic Studies part time, but her best (and toughest job) has been staying at home with their three children, Shaina, Mira, and Ari. She enjoys volunteering in the community, hosting playdates, cooking, and keeping up with friends on social media.
Melissa Brooks
Sales Rep. – Email
After moving from New Jersey 25 years ago, Melissa has lived most of her life in and around Greensboro. Melissa graduated from UNCC with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She had a few different positions after college, but never found that “dream job.” Her most rewarding and challenging job has been staying home with her three girls – Kamdyn (6), Paige (3) and Reese (3). While staying home with her children, Melissa has been an active volunteer with Family Support Network of Central Carolina as well as Kamdyn’s school and church. Melissa has utilized the Triad Moms on Main website for years and is thrilled to be the newest member of our team!

Dennette Bailey
Blogger
Dennette is a mom of three, an aspiring author, and a teacher. A graduate of Winston Salem State University, the University of North Carolina Greensboro and Piedmont International University, she loves learning and teaching. Having spirited conversations about politics, religion and education with her spouse (who is also an educator) keeps her grounded, but going to church, planning family vacations and hosting parties keep her enthusiastic. Dennette has submitted guest blogs to TMoM since 2015 and joined the TMoM team as a regular blogger in 2018.
Laura Simon
Blogger & Podcast Team Member
Laura moved to the Triad from Cincinnati in 2016, and she hopes to never experience another midwestern winter. A middle and high school English teacher for 14 years, she now works from home for an e-learning company and homeschools her three kids: Eli (12), Caleb (10) and Violet (7). Her rescue dogs, Jack and Winston, are also at home during school hours, but they don’t seem to be making any educational progress. When she’s not driving her kids to swim team, piano, guitar, and playdates or volunteering at her beloved church, Laura loves to travel with her kids, try new food, and read. She has a faint memory of loving to sleep in, but she’s long since forgotten how to do it. Fortunately, she’s also passionate about good local coffee (black, with honey) and quality eye cream.
Anna Keller
Blogger
Anna and her husband, Kevin, moved to Winston-Salem from Atlanta more than 10 years ago for what they thought would be a two-year stint (he went to business school at Wake Forest), and they’re thrilled they never left. They love the strong, close-knit community here, and find it to be the perfect place to raise their preschooler, Maggie, and her baby brother, Vance. In addition to blogging for TMoM and doing other freelance writing, Anna has her own blog, curiouser & curiouser, where she writes about topics ranging from health and wellness to pregnancy and parenting to fashion and baking — and lots more! She’s also a Pure Barre teacher and a Beautycounter consultant who loves spending time with her family, catching up with friends over lunch, reading (though time for that is rare these days!), and organizing the refrigerator — especially on days when everything else seems out of control (it’s so very cathartic!).
Sydney Richardson
Blogger
Sydney Richardson is an educator, writer, and coffee-lover. Born in New Jersey and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina she often played “school” with her sister. It’s no surprise that they both went into education. A graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (B.A. and PhD) and North Carolina A&T State University (M.A.), Sydney has spent the last sixteen years in higher education, working in faculty and administrative roles. Her writing often focuses on topics related to education, leadership, and work/family balance. She has her own blog, Rokleader, and gives workshops on areas of women in leadership. When she’s not working, Sydney can be found perfecting her coffee brewing, trying out new recipes on her family, or painting a new room in her house. She and her husband, Herbert, are proud parents to two children and hound/boxer mix pup.

Original Co-Founders
Rachel Hoeing & Katie Moosbrugger
What started as an idea scribbled on a Chick-fil-A napkin soon became a reality 12 years ago this month. Rachel and Katie developed Triad Moms on Main with the sole purpose of creating an inclusive online community of Triad moms and dads. Today that community includes tens of thousands of readers who log on to the site each and every day, subscribe to TMoM’s newsletter, and follow the site on social media.
With Rachel’s background in elementary education and Katie’s background in PR, the partnership was the perfect blend of knowledge and experience to grow Triad Moms on Main into the area’s premier resource for parents. The two have lived in the Triad with their respective families for over 18 years and have raised their children while running the site. Now that they each have grown children, Rachel and Katie recognized the need to pass the torch. The founders will remain owners of the website, but are thrilled to watch TMoM continue to grow and evolve under new leadership. The Triad Moms on Main team has expanded to a group of 20 incredible women, and we all cannot wait to see what the future holds.
