Greensboro Water Festival

FreeThe City of Greensboro’s Water Resources Department invites Guilford County fifth-grade students to the 2025 Water Festival— a FREE, one-day educational adventure designed to enhance students’ understanding of the water cycle, the impact of weather on water supply, water testing, aquatic ecosystems, conservation, and more! The festival aims to raise awareness among students about the importance of our water resources and their role and responsibility in water conservation.

- Location: Barber Park, 1500 Barber Park Dr., Greensboro, NC
The Water Festival will take place rain or shine, with students transitioning indoors or to sheltered areas in the event of heavy rain.
About the Event:
The Water Festival offers approximately 500 Guilford County fifth-grade students (public, private, and home school associations) the chance to engage in fun, hands-on water activities aligned with Guilford County Schools’ fifth-grade curriculum.
Registration is required. Register your school or class now!
The deadline to register is January 17, 2025.
We can accommodate up to 500 students, depending on the number of available presenters. Registrants will receive notification of the selected schools and classes by January 31, 2025.
