It’s back to school season, and for many of us that also means back to lunch packing season. We’ve rounded up a few lunch packing supplies to make the task a little easier!

Oh, and if you’re looking for inspiration when it comes to what to put IN those school lunches, check out this great post with both school lunch and snack ideas for kids.

Lunchboxes

We personally love a divided lunchbox to ensure everything stays separated. This Bentgo option is a great one, and the PlanetBox is a wonderfully safe and durable stainless steel option. (Heads up: The PlanetBox is more of an investment.) YumBox is another fun option, and this one gets great reviews and is the most affordable of the bunch.

Water Bottles

A reusable water bottle is something your kiddo’s going to need for school, regardless of if you send them with a packed lunch. (Related side note: Doesn’t it make you happy that kids today are so much more hydrated than we were at their age?) If you’re searching for some good kids’ water bottle options, here are some great options.

This one comes in a two-pack — perfect if you’re buying for two kids! Your kids will also appreciate that they come with stickers to personalize them. This Thermos water bottle is a solid choice, as is this one by Simple Modern. Here’s another two-pack option, and we Iike that these bottles hold 18 ounces of liquid (more than most kids’ water bottles). This Ello bottle is cute, too!

Waterproof Labels

Waterproof labels can come in handy in so many different ways for kids, including on lunchboxes and water bottles (not to mention clothes, school supplies, and more!). If you’d like some recommendations, try these, these, these, or these!

Other Lunch Accessories

Here are a few other things that might come in handy as you pack school lunches and snacks for your kids.

Ice packs like these can be helpful to have on hand. A convenient reusable silverware set like this one is great to be able to throw into your child’s lunchbox. For days you want to pack something like soup for your kiddo, a vacuum-insulated travel container like this one will ensure lunch makes it to the cafeteria intact (and warm)!

If you’re looking for a bag your child can use to easily carry their lunchbox, water bottle, and snack to school each day, the TMoM team loves this one! And finally, these silicone cups and cute food picks are fun to include in kids’ lunches as well.
