New Infant Room at B’Nai Shalom
B’nai Shalom is very excited to announce the opening of an Infant Room this August. Babies as young as 8 weeks old will be lovingly tended to by childcare specialists in their licensed facility. Bnai’s state-of-the art infant room will encourage babies to explore new things and reach developmental milestones in a loving and comfortable setting. Their unique program helps develop learning, language, fine motor and gross motor skills.
B’nai Shalom is dedicated to making sure your baby starts in the right direction and to providing a community of support for new parents.

Bookmarks Summer Reading Program
Bookmarks Summer Reading Program helps students, parents, and teachers prepare for the annual Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors, which will take place September 7 –10. K-12 students across North Carolina are invited to participate with a chance to earn books and cash prizes up to $250. The program has book lists for Elementary, Middle, and High School students to read, enjoy, and respond to over the summer through written, visual, and video responses. A Summer Reading brochure can be downloaded HERE. In addition to the book lists and full program details, the brochure details a variety of reading and writing events offered for students during the summer to keep them engaged with reading. Next up – Harry Potter’s Birthday on Sunday, July 30 from 1 – 4 p.m. at Bookmarks, 634 W. Fourth Street #110, with parking behind the building off Holly Avenue. Submissions due 8-30-17.
