There are so many fun events throughout the summer in our area. We hope you are checking our event calendar regularly so you don’t miss out!

Today we highlight three events, plus share info on new membership options at two of our favorite local spots for kids!

New Membership Options at Children’s Museum and SciWorks

Merger PhotoThe Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem and SciWorks officially merged on July 1, 2016, and now memberships and benefits are reciprocal. For example, a family holding a Children’s Museum membership also has free admission to SciWorks and is able to receive discounts on birthday parties, camps, etc. — and vice versa!

Not a member? Here is the new membership pricing!

  • Adult + Child: $75. Add one additional child for $20.
  • Grandparent: $95. Includes both grandparents and all grandchildren.
  • Family Membership: $135. Includes up to four adults and all children, as well as reciprocal benefits with museums affiliated with ASTC (Association of Science – Technology Centers) and ACM (Association of Children’s Museums).

On July 31, the museums join forces with Bookmarks to celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday with cake, games, magical demos, crafts, and more! This event will be held at SciWorks, and all activities are included with admission and free for members!
