PBR Teams and the Carolina Cowboys are hosting “Cowboy Days” on September 22, 23, & 24 at the Greensboro Coliseum. Behind the Scenes of Carolina Cowboys
The Carolina Cowboys competed their inaugural season in 2022 in Winston-Salem and are moving their competition to Greensboro this year.
While many know Richard Childress for his impressive racing records or Childress Vineyards, it is less known that he is the owner and operator of the Carolina Cowboys. He operated the team in 2022 on behalf of the PBR and purchased the Carolina Cowboys, with entrepreneur Jeff Broin, ahead of the 2023 campaign. Entrepreneur and agriculturalist Broin is the founder and CEO of bioprocessing giant POET, the world’s largest biofuel producer.
Childress’ grandson Austin Dillon is the General Manager of the Carolina Cowboys.
The Head Coach of the Carolina Cowboys is none other than Jerome Davis, PBR Co-Founder and the 1995 PRCA bull riding world champion. In fact, he paved the way for victory for the east coast in the sport as he was the first competitor east of the Mississippi to win a bull riding world title. His wife, Tiffany, is currently Assistant General Manager of the Carolina Cowboys.
This impressive leadership team is working hard to lead the team to victory and win the 2023 Teams Championship.
