I often say that May is the new December. So much to do and so little time! But don’t let this time of year get you stressed when we have so much to be thankful for! Instead, let TMoM help you plan a fabulous summer and do all the research for you. In today’s blog we share two great summer camps and an easy way to keep your yard free of mosquitoes!

Summer Theatre Camp

A multi-ethnic group of elementary age children are lying in the grass at the park. They have their heads together in the middle of a circle and are smiling and looking up at the camera.

Nationally recognized North Carolina Theatre for Young People is proud to announce the opening of its UNCG Summer Theatre Camp! Run by a professionally trained artistic team at NCTYP, the week long summer camps are for children ages 5 – 9, 10 – 12, and 13 – 16. Sign up for camps that focus on fairytales, musical theatre showcases, developing improv skills, or creating an original play. In this structured, safe environment use your imagination! Build confidence! Develop communication skills and make friends!

DATES: week long camps beginning June 19 – August 4th
TIME: 9:00 – 4:00, Monday to Friday (ask about early drop-off and late pick-up)
LOCATION: UNCG School of Theatre, Taylor Building
COST: $200 per session

Outside is Fun Again with Mosquito Joe

When it’s mosquito season, it’s tempting to hide inside. Mosquitoes expose us to insect-borne diseases like West Nile virus and Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) and Mosquito Joe is the answer to keeping your family safe. They provide mosquito control treatment to residential and commercial customers. The technicians are trained mosquito control experts dedicated to one thing: getting rid of mosquitoes so that you can enjoy being outside again. Outfitted with the latest gear, technicians get the job done swiftly, thoroughly and safely. Here are the options to best fit your needs:

Custom Barrier Sprays: Barrier spray mosquito treatments work right away – and keep working for weeks.
All Natural Treatments: An alternative to the barrier treatment, this all-natural service works just as effectively as the synthetic.
Special Events: Your party, barbecue, wedding, reunion or any other outdoor event should be remembered for the good times, not the mosquitoes
