AUMC SS PicArdmore United Methodist Through-the-Week Consignment Sale

Ardmore United Methodist Through-the-Week Consignment Sale is a great way to purchase gently used children’s items.  Shop for children’s clothing from newborn through size 16, maternity clothing and related items, shoes, toys, books, equipment, furniture and more. Sellers receive 60% of sale profits, 40% of profits go back to the preschool.  The sale is located in the Bob Martin Hall, 630 S. Hawthorne Rd, Winston-Salem, NC.

Consignors may drop off items for sale Wednesday, March 8th from 9:00am-12:30pm and 6:00-7:30 pm or Thursday, March 9th from 9:00am -12:30 pm. Volunteers who work at the sale can attend the Pre-Shop event on Thursday, March 9th from 4:00-6:00pm. The sale is open to the Public on Thursday, March 9 6:00-8:00 pm; Friday, March 10 8:30 am -12:30pm and Saturday, March 11th 8:00-11:00am. (Doors close at 11:00am, reopen at 11:30) The half-price sale is Saturday, March 11 from 11:30am – 1:00pm.

Greensboro Sports Day Camp Encourages Fun and Fundamentals

All Stars Summer Camp)Got a sporty kid? Send your child to the Greensboro Sportsplex for summer camp this year! The All Stars Summer Day Camp provides fundamentals training on a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, hockey, lacrosse, tennis and volleyball. This exciting camp encourages participation, enhances self-esteem, promotes physical activity, and keeps kids actively engaged while practicing sport-related skills and healthy habits. Every week, campers attend one field trip, such as a Greensboro Grasshoppers game. Campers will learn new skills and make new friends.

All Stars Summer Day Camp is open to children aged 6-12. The camp runs Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, at the Sportsplex, 2400 16th St., Greensboro. Free lunch is provided MondayThursday. Early bird registration is $114 per week per camper. Registration costs $149 per week after June 1. This is an amazing annual event where all funds raised will directly provide assistance to the most poor and vulnerable in our community. It is an inspiring evening where you will be amazed at the difference Catholic Charities is making right in your own backyard.
