Recently, the Triad Moms on the Mic got together (virtually) in the spirit of giving and discussed our favorite things to give and receive. FOOD
We love supporting local businesses, especially during the craziness that is 2020. Local restaurants have taken a hit so we suggest a gift card to your loved one’s favorite spot. With so many curbside options, it’s a no brainer around the holiday rush! A few we love:
~ Mozelles in Winston-Salem – try the meatloaf!
~ Kitchen Roselli – pro tip: Order a cream puff for each member of your party when you make a reservation…trust us!
~ Rooster’s – A Noble Grille -the tomato bisque is sure to be a crowd pleaser AND they have a special holiday menu if you’re plans this season don’t include time in the kitchen.
~ Shishito peppers, roasted and dipped in soyaki (a la Chef & the Farmer) — a tried and true app that has us drooling!
~ We’re also loving Print Works Bistro and Maxie B’s in Greensboro along with Blue Water Grille in High Point.
DRINK
~ If you’ve got a beer lover on your list, we suggest hitting up Stella Brew or City Beverage for your provisions. Highland Brewery’s Cold Mountain Winter Ale and Bell’s Two Hearted are sure to please.
~ Whiskey lover? Stick with a local business and give Broad Branch Rye Fidelity a swirl, it’s smooth on its own or mixed with Sunshine Beverages! We also love the accessibility to Yadkin Valley Wine Country, a few faves are Westbend Winery and Brewery, Medaloni Cellars and Raylen Vineyards. For non alcoholic beverages, give the gift of handcrafted Bingo Bango Soda or naturally fermented UpDog Kombucha.
~ Check out Gate City Growlers, House Divided and Craft City Sip In (Greensboro), The Brewer’s Kettle (located in High Point, Kernersville, Clemmons, and Lexington) and Potent Potables (Jamestown) for all of your holiday provision needs!
BEAUTY PRODUCT
What gal doesn’t love a little pampering, especially around the holidays?
