There are many parks, gardens, and flower farms in the Triad with beautiful spring and summer blooms. Info: The cutting garden at Fernrock Farm offers a peaceful sanctuary where you can stroll through rows of raised beds to view blooming annuals, perennials, and herbal greenery. Info: Their farm supports families in the Freedom House program.  Everything you purchase allows them to grow our recovery program and help more mothers and their children! Their primary crop is strawberries in the spring, but throughout the year they sell fresh produce, eggs, jam, bread, flowers, pumpkins, and Christmas Trees!

Dewberry Farm

Dates / Hours Open: Opening 3/20/24 we usually stay open for 3 weeks. Hours will be 10:00 to 6:00. We pre-sell tickets on our website under the event page, to limit the amount of people here at a time.
Pricing: The entrance price is $8 for adults and $5 for children over 2. Weekend entry: $13 for adults (includes three tulips), $5 for children. Tulips are $1.25 each, Tulip and bulb $1.75 each. They have a limited amount of baskets and clippers available to borrow. Buckets $2.25 cups $1.25 each to put your tulips in.
Info: You pick tulips and springtime on the farm. We planted 143,000 tulips , the farm is open to visit with our farm animals, we have old fashion swings, tractor’s and a hedge maze for children. There are a lot of photo props. We will be selling donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, water and soft drinks. The venue is always open to see the other gardens. There are indoor bathrooms. There are picnic areas. They take cash or credit cards.

Dogwood Farm

Dates / Hours Open: Dogwood Farm’s wildflowers fields open in Late April-Early May and last for a few weeks.
Pricing: Admission tickets cost to Dogwood farms are $8 per person Monday-Friday Mornings 9-12. $10 Per Person Saturday + Sunday & Weekdays after 12. Children under 7 are free. 65 and older are $5. Veterans or active duty with Military ID are free.
Info: Dogwood farms has 13 acres of Wildflowers. Sunflower U-Pick Approximately July. Spring Cosmos, Poppies, Zinnias and other wildflowers.

Jones Strawberry Farm

Description: It’s Tulip Time! The dull days of winter are coming to an end and Jones Strawberry Farm in Pfafftown is bringing in spring with bright and cheery tulips! They do not charge admission fees so feel free to bring the whole family and all your friends. Visitors should bring cutting shears and a bucket/basket. They do have a few on hand in case you forget, but not many. They also recommend you wear shoes appropriate for walking in a field. Tulips are sold from the shelter with the red roof on the west side of Seward Rd.

Late Bloomers Flower Farm

Dates / Hours Open: March 21st. They post what weekends we will be open to the public on their social media and hours. They do take appointments if guests want to visit outside our normal hours.
Pricing: Our guests pay a $2 entry fee , and $2 per stem.
Info: They are a sister owned, Stacy Sikes and Barbara Cason, sustainable cut flower farm.
They start with Tulips and it only lasts 3 weeks! They are generally open Thursday – Sunday during this time. As the season progresses, they offer peony and lavender. As they get into summer flowers, sunflowers, dahlias, and numerous others are available. Cut flowers prices range depending on what season it is. One of their best offers is selling flowers by the bucket for flower lovers who want to DIY their own weddings, dinners, showers and any type of event.

Serenity Ridge Farm

Hours: Friday 5p.m-8p.m, Saturday 8a.m-8p.m, & Sunday 1-8p.m.

Info:We are a family owned farm, offering You Pick sunflowers and Wild Flowers. Photographers welcome with appointment. We just welcomed our first mini Highland calf, Cheyanne. We will have her available for photography sessions soon! Sunflowers will be ready by 7/1.

Other Places to See Spring Blooms in the Triad

In Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and High Point, there are plenty of other public places besides flower farms in the triad where you can revel in the beauty of spring blooms. Parks, botanical gardens, and nature preserves offer scenic trails lined with wildflowers and native plants. Pack a picnic, lace up your walking shoes, and set out to discover these hidden gems.

Triad Park is county park in Forsyth County. Triad Park’s address is 9652 West Market St. Kernersville, NC 27284. It has rows of white flower blossom trees along a few paths. These were in bloom in March.

The Rose Garden & Arboretum are stunning! There are playgrounds, golfing, horseback riding, a dog park, and much more at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. It has it all! There is a $2 entrance fee per vehicle. The address for Tanglewood Park is 4061 Clemmons Road Clemmons, NC.

Millstone Creek Orchards

Info: Millstone Creek Orchards (MCO) is a family-owned orchard on 84 acres, offering u-pick blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, grapes, apples, pumpkins, pecans, and flowers. They offer catch & release fishing, picnic areas, playground, ice cream parlor, fresh-pressed apple cider, and special events themed around the fruit harvests. They also offer seasonal educational orchard tours, sharing the wonders of Mother Nature, agriculture, and their love of farming with the community through interactive outdoor experiences. They have beautiful peach blossom trees with pink flower blossoms on them. They bloom for just a few weeks in March. You get mini apple cider slushies with your admission. There was a surprise visit from the easter bunny too!

Gateway Gardens in Greensboro, NC

Info: Eventually spanning 11 acres, Gateway Gardens provides a stunning entryway into the City of Greensboro. There is an interactive garden, and a horticultural oasis integrating elements of history, movement, discovery, and community. It’s best for toddlers and younger children.

Tanger Family Bicentennial Gardens in Greensboro, NC

Info: A 7.5-acre garden with trails, a wedding gazebo, sensory garden and manmade creek. There are beautiful flowers and plantings as well as sculptures throughout. Paved path that is perfect for a family walk. A decent distance provides for a nice loop around and it is easy to jump onto the path at Bog Gardens as well. There are beautiful flowers to view but also statues and historic information.

Arboretum Lindley Park

Info: A flower-filled paved walk allows for a nice place to run or walk around. It gets a little noisy due to nearby roads but is extremely stroller friendly.

Reynolda Gardens

Features: The formal gardens are open to the public and free of charge. Click website link above for hours. Make sure to visit the gardens, which are lined with pathways, when the flowers are in full bloom. Walk the wooded areas around the estate where you’ll find a stream, waterfall, a series of ponds, lots of turtles, the 16-acre Lake Katharine, as well as stroll the 22-acres of open field (formerly the estate’s golf links).
