It’s POOL SEASON, y’all! If you plan to spend lots of hours this summer at the pool with your kiddos, you just might be searching for a few pool toys and accessories to make your time spent there even more enjoyable. (Oh, and this goes without saying: Don’t forget the snacks!! ????) If you are looking for a pool to join check out our Pool and Swim club directory.

Pool Games, toys, and more recommendations

Diving Toys

If your child is half fish and can’t get enough of diving to the bottom of the pool to show off their skills, having some fun diving toys at the ready will result in hours of entertainment this summer. If you want to weave some math into a game, give this Seek & Splash Number Dive set a try. Some other adorable diving toy options include these Dive Egg Sticks, Throwing Torpedo Sharks, Starfish Diving Set, and Sinking Duck Toys (perhaps the cutest of the bunch) are some of our top picks.

Pool Games

Looking for ways to keep multiple kids having fun in the pool together? A pool game could be the answer. Here’s a Floating Basketball Hoop/Ring Toss combo game, and who wouldn’t love to play a few rounds of Shark Cornhole in the pool? This Flamingo Ring Toss game also looks so fun (especially with the option to wear it as a hat)!

Toddler Toys

Younger kiddos will love having some pool toys that are perfect for their level. (Oh, and hint: Lots of your toddler’s favorite bath toys can double as pool toys as well!) We think this Scoop & Toss toy is pretty adorable, and they’re sure to giggle at these Octopus Water Bombs. This Shark Grabber toy and these Light-Up Cubes (which can be enjoyed in the bath, pool, and LOTS of other ways) are great options, too.

Baby Floats

Let your little one enjoy the pool in comfort in a float! We especially love one with a built-in sun shade like this one, this one, or this one. (How cute is that little floating airplane??) This Swimbobo Float is a great option for kids who like to be on the move in the water but definitely still need a float.

Sunscreen

SPF is a must for outdoor summer activities, and the Thinksport Kids Mineral Sunscreen Stick makes applying (safe!) sunscreen to your child’s face, ears, etc. quick and easy. Thinksport’s SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion is a wonderful option for the rest of their bodies (and don’t forget yours, too!). This Solar Buddies sunscreen applicator has become a huge hit with my kids who HATE putting on sunscreen. The roller and sponge applicator make it quick and easy. You can fill it with any of your favorite sunscreens. The Cerave sunscreen stick is another quick and easy way to apply sunscreen to their face.

Etc.

We wanted to share a few miscellaneous things that might come in handy at the pool as well, including kids’ goggles, adorable towels your kiddos will love, a handy mesh bag to carry everything to and from the pool, and shark slides for their tiny feet (EEK, SO CUTE!).
