Terrifying (But Healthy!) Halloween Treats

Creepy Craft: Yummy Mummy Treat Cups
These Halloween treat cups are fun to make and perfect for party favors.

- Bathroom-sized plastic or paper cups
- An old white t-shirt
- Medium wiggle eyes
- Felt (any Halloween color)
- Glue stick & craft glue

Cut the t-shirt into strips. Use a glue stick to wrap the strips around the cup. Add a felt bowtie or bow depending on the mummy’s personality. Glue on wiggle eyes, then fill the cups with candy or small toys.
Ghoulish Games & Decorations for Kids
Want to create a spooky vibe without a huge budget? These Halloween games for kids double as frightfully fun decor!
Ghosties
Crumple a tissue into a ball and wrap it in another tissue. Tie a “neck” with string. Draw on spooky faces and hang them around the room. Add yarn hair, hats, or capes for bonus creepiness!
Body Parts Guessing Game
Place food in bowls and hide them behind a curtain or box. Have kids reach in and guess the “body parts”:
- Hot dogs = severed fingers
- Spaghetti = guts
- Peeled grapes = eyeballs
- Cauliflower + cottage cheese = brains
- Cooked rice = maggots
- Salsa + corn + peas = vomit
Creepy? Absolutely. Memorable? 100%.
Crunching Bones Underfoot
Hide dry breadsticks or pretzels under a rug—when kids walk over, it sounds like crunching bones!
Classic Halloween Party Games
Some games never go out of style, and they’re easy to set up too!
Bobbing for Apples
You know it, you love it. Fill a tub with water and apples—let the kids go wild (just keep towels nearby).
Pin the Tail on the…
Ghost, pumpkin, witch—you name it. Buy a Halloween-themed poster and create a detachable tail. Add a blindfold and you’ve got hours of giggles.
