Piedmont Earth Day Fair

Enjoy a FREE fun-filled day at the Piedmont Earth Day Fair on April 18th from 10 am-4 pm at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds. This family-friendly event, hosted by Piedmont Environmental Alliance, features activities and demonstrations, live music, food trucks, and more. Children’s activities include stories, crafts, seed planting, face-painting, and yoga, hosted by local favorites including Forsyth County Public Library, Piedmont Forest School, and Art SHAC.

Natural Egg Dyeing in the Historical Park

Historical Park – High Point Museum (1859 E Lexington Ave, High Point, NC)

Get ready for the Easter Bunny and dye eggs with common foods from nature! They’ll provide the eggs you can dip in dyes made from onion skins, blueberries, and more. FREE. All ages welcome. Drop-in.


Art in the Park: Flower Crowns

Miller Park Community Center (400 Leisure Ln, Winston-Salem, NC)

Celebrate the first day of spring with a contemporary art-inspired guided workshop and learn the techniques of modern floral design you can take home.

Art in the Park is a free pop-up series presented by NCMA Winston-Salem and Winston-Salem Recreation & Parks. Designed for all ages, Art in the Park invites you to explore your creativity at scenic local parks. Drop in between 10:00 and 1:00 to enjoy a unique, hands-on tutorial led by our featured local artist. Each Art in the Park session brings a brand-new creative experience. Materials are provided, and if you can’t stay to create, they’ll happily send you off with supplies to help spark your imagination later.


Easter Eggstravaganza

Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10 am

Join Powerline Church’s Easter Eggstravaganza a fun, free outdoor Easter celebration for the whole family! 

Bring your kids and invite a friend for a joyful morning filled with:

Age-based Egg Hunts (Preschool, K-2nd & 3rd-5th)
Professional Easter Bunny Photos
Petting Zoo (bunnies, ducks, chickens & more!)
Crafts and games
Grab-N-Go Breakfast

They’ll also share a short, kid-friendly Easter story during the event!

Egg Hunt for Good

Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 3 pm – 4:30 pm at LeBauer Park, Greensboro

Hosted by: Early Childhood Center and West Market Street United Methodist Church

Price: FREE to all – please bring non-perishable food donations for local pantries!

The Egg Hunt for Good is an opportunity for kids of all ages to experience an Easter Egg Hunt in a new way! Step 1: Bring non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries and place them in our donation bins. Step 2: Search for eggs on the LeBauer Park Great Lawn using a scavenger hunt map. Step 3: Trade in your eggs for a free bag of treats to take home! Step 4: Enjoy activities, crafts, and snacks as a family as we celebrate the gift of Easter! Optional Step 5: If you’re a grown-up, join us for some fun at our Adult Egg Hunt and help local non-profits win prizes to support their work.
