The Postpartum Resource Center of the Triad (PRCT) will host the Miles for Maternal Mental Health 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Jamison Park in Winston-Salem. This family-friendly event welcomes runners, walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs to raise awareness of postpartum mental health conditions and support local resources for expecting and new parents. Participants will enjoy professional chipped timing, refreshments, and activities for all ages. Proceeds benefit PRCT’s mission to improve access to perinatal mental health support, reduce stigma, and connect families with evidence-based resources throughout the Triad community.

Join Boys-N-Girls Learning Center for a FREE Alumni Reunion & Back-to-School Bash celebrating 31 years of children, families, and community in Alamance County. Whether you’re a current family, a former student, an alumni parent, a past teacher, or just a friend of BNG — there’s a place for you there.

Here’s what’s happening:

-Free backpacks & school supplies (while supplies last)

-Free books — every child leaves with one to take home

-The BNG Community Puzzle Wall — every family adds a piece to a giant work of art we’ll assemble live and hang permanently

-31 Golden Tickets hidden in backpacks for bonus prizes

-“Look at Me Now!” — were you a BNG kid? Come take a fresh photo and show us how far you’ve come! Bring an old childhood photo if you’ve got one and we’ll snap a “then & now” side-by-side — or just come as you are.

-DJ, music, and giveaways all day

-A special surprise announcement at 12:00 noon you will NOT want to miss…

And they’re lining up even more — inflatables, Touch-a-Truck, food, and a Kids-Eat-Free Zone.

Free admission. Bring the whole family, tag a former BNG family, and help them celebrate 31 years.
