30 Years of Reproductive Medicine Success at Wake Forest Baptist Health
As the Center for Infertility, Endocrine and Menopause celebrates its 30th anniversary, Dr. Jeff Deaton and Dr. Shelby Neal chat with BestHealth and reflect on the past 30 years of reproductive medicine. They discuss advances in science and technology over the years and how these advances assist many families with primary and secondary infertility today. Primary infertility refers to couples who have not become pregnant after at least 1 year having sex without using birth control methods. Secondary infertility refers to couples who have been able to get pregnant and give birth at least once, but now are unable. The doctors also offer some insightful information on common diagnoses and treatment options for couples.
