Description: First Horizon Coliseum (formerly known as Greensboro Coliseum), the iconic 22,000-seat arena at the heart of Greensboro Complex, has a long history of hosting prestigious events and providing world-class live entertainment. In addition to hosting NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments 20 times, including the Men’s Final Four in 1974, First Horizon Coliseum has hosted the ACC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments a collective 53 times, the most of any venue for both tournaments.

Description: Named for the famed African American actor, singer, athlete, political activist and giant in the Harlem Renaissance, the facility is home to the nationally award-winning Richard B. Description: The UNCG Opera Theatre, under the direction of David Holley, annually produces at least four operas. In the fall, their annual “Tour to the Schools” reaches over 10,000 area school children and a chamber opera is presented in November. In the spring, the School of Music and the School of Theatre join forces on a large-scale opera, and the UNCG Opera Theatre collaborates with the Greensboro Opera to present GO’s signature outreach program, “Opera at the Carolina,” in which every fifth grader in Guilford County (6,000+) attends a live opera at the downtown Carolina Theatre.
