This is more than a party — it’s a winning ticket for hope for children battling critical illnesses. This isn’t just a day at the races — it’s a chance to make a life‑changing wish come true.

Curiosity Quest

Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 10:30am – 1:30pm

Kaleideum, Winston-Salem, NC

Come see how Girl Scouting can spark new ideas and inspire the next generation of innovators! At this event you can build mini aquaponics systems, investigate horse genetics and more. Hear from guest speaker, Dr. Mary Lynne Dittmar, who has helped design homes such as the International Space Station.

Museum admission is included, so you can continue exploring! Girl Scout membership not required but will be available on-site.

5th Annual Chalk Walk

Join Greensboro Parks & Recreation for the 5th annual Chalk Walk art competition. Register to participate as an artist or just stroll through Gateway Gardens (2800 E Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC) and enjoy the artwork.

Drawing will take place on Saturday, April 11 from 9 am to 5 pm. Register today – tinyurl.com/ChalkWalk26

Judged categories will include best youth, teen, adult, group, and fan favorite. Judging will take place during Makers Way at Getway on Sunday, April 12. 

Pregnant in the Piedmont

Pregnant in the Piedmont is a free pregnancy, baby, early childhood and parenting expo presented by Piedmont Doulas, a local business that offers birth doulas, postpartum doulas and childbirth education. 

Cardboard Robot Parade

Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 12pm – 4:30pm

UNCG School of Education

Free event for ages PreK – 100!

Build your Wearable Cardboard Robot with their Cardboard Engineers from 12 PM until the start of the parade at 3:45 PM! March in the Cardboard Robot Parade! Parade begins at the UNCG School of Education at 3:45 PM and arrives at the Moran Commons Fountains at 4 PM. End with a cardboard robot dance party and prize raffle down at the fountain.
