By Katie Moosbrugger
Splash parks and spray grounds have literally sprung up all over the Triad, and more are being planned! Many of these (particularly the pools and water slides) will not open until Memorial Day weekend, but some spray grounds are already operational. For the parks that are completely free to attend, we listed that below. Others charge admission, and some charge a fee for large groups. Every park below is listed with a web site where you can get more information on hours and fees.
It’s also a good idea to check the park’s web site or call them to confirm the park is operational the day you go. You never know if weather or something technical has closed the park for the day or longer. We noted those that are currently not operating.
All the parks are grouped by Triad cities. I’ve also included a list of parks that are a short drive away. You can always find this list on our Directories Page. If I forgot to add your favorite local water park, please leave a comment below or email Katie@TriadMomsOnMain.com!
