High Point Christian Academy Invites Your Family to its Open House

By Rita C. Haire, Ed.D., Director of Advancement, High Point Christian Academy

High Point Christian Academy welcomes families to come out on Sunday afternoon, November 10th, at 3:00 p.m., for an informal and informative visit to our campus at our Open House (for transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade).

Meet the Head of School, administrators, and teachers, take a friendly tour, enjoy refreshments, and take home an application packet brimming with information. HPCA holds dear its mission to provide “Christ-centered quality education and academic excellence, in partnership with family and church within a loving, caring atmosphere.”

With a certified and experienced faculty, rigorous curriculum, award-winning fine arts, and 33 competitive athletic teams, HPCA continues to graduate students of the highest caliber, with the classes of 2012 and 2013 earning $3-4 million in scholarships! The 2013 senior class soared past surroundings schools and systems with an AP Exam pass rate of 90%, with every AP student participating in the exams.

Elementary students experience multiple opportunities for enrichment with events such as the Geography Bee, Math Olympics, and the Speech Meet. After school clubs include Robotics Club, Drama Kids, Bel Canto, and Math Club. Classrooms are equipped with SmartBoards and other technology tools to support engaging and interactive learning.

The high school offers seven AP classes, in addition to online courses such as Latin and Physics. Classes such as Mock Trial and Understanding the Times equip students with critical thinking skills and biblical worldview development. Clubs for high school students range from the Outdoor Backpacking Club to the Interact (service) Club.

Our philosophy of service is a consistent thread across every grade level, with students serving and giving locally and around the world. HPCA high school students commit to a Life of Influence project, which builds each year through high school, culminating with a five-year plan for a continued life of service after graduation.

Come by on Sunday, November 10th, and Experience the Difference of High Point Christian!
