This year, a large majority of people on my gift list will be receiving a comfy, cozy, handmade blanket! I took a class at AR Workshop this fall to learn how to make Chunky Knit Blankets and I loved the final result! After learning the technique, I bought my own yarn and got to work. It has been so much fun to gift a handmade item to loved ones! AR Workshop has locations in Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
I found these bathroom towels at Swoozie’s in Greensboro and thought they were too cute! I bought quite a few and thought they made perfect hostess gifts for holiday parties!
If you have a toddler on your gift list, this is something they might love! My niece is one and is always grabbing for our cell phones and remotes. When we found this gift at Kohl’s, we knew it was perfect. These items look enough like the real things (instead of like toys) so they just might be interested in playing with them!

This year, my husband and I gave ourselves an early gift with Ring, the doorbell that comes with a video monitor. Each of us in our house downloaded the app and it’s been fun to watch all the activity at the front door this season. But most importantly, it’s a great security device.
My teen daughter is obsessed with getting new jewelry, so I found the perfect gift with Pura Vida’s monthly jewelry club! Each month she will receive up to two new jewelry styles in the mail – it’s the gift that keeps on giving!
This year my son is receiving these LED strip lights that change color and sync to music – all via remote control – to make his room super trippy. And yes, I do realize the rest of us will probably get daily headaches from this gift!

Our family loves to travel and we have a world map to track our travels with push pins. This year we are giving our children a USA map to track our family adventures together so we can see where we have been and where we would like to go next! We love the quality of Conquest Maps, but there are many choices out there!
Our tree is covered in photo ornaments from each year of our children’s lives. We treasure them more than any of the other ornaments we own! This year we discovered Snapfish custom ornaments that are printed directly on aluminum and they are beautiful! We made several for ourselves and for gifts this year.
These Heavenly Toffee cookies live up to their name! You can’t go wrong with a tin of these cookies for anyone on your list!

Bombas Socks – These socks are amazing! Not only are they the most comfortable socks you will ever wear, but they also give back! For every pair purchased, a pair is donated to someone in need. A great product and a great cause!
Love Your Melon Beanie – These hats are super cute, super warm, and support an incredible cause. Proceeds from all hats purchased go toward pediatric cancer research and donating hats to children fighter cancer! A great gift all around.
Symbolic Animal Adoptions – You can “adopt” any animal on their website! You get a certificate, picture of the animal with fun facts, and a plush! A symbolic gift that is fun and meaningful, especially to animal lovers!

~ I love cupcakes so much that my preschool kiddos have called me Mrs. Cupcake in the past. I love the cupcakes at Whole Foods the most! These are one of my favorite things to bring as a hostess gift during the holidays as well.
~ I loved O’Charley’s when they were in Winston Salem and now I have to make the drive to Greensboro because no one I know makes a salmon meal the way they do! Every year, I always put a gift card to O’Charley’s on my list.
~ My favorite vacation ever was the one my family and I took to Pigeon Forge Tennessee. They have everything a family of various ages can appreciate! If you’re at a loss for gifts for older kinds, consider a trip to Pigeon Forge as an “experience” gift. It will create memories for years to come!
