As we are reflective on our neighborhood and community here in Winston-Salem, we can hear the words of Fred Rogers from “Mister Rogers Neighborhood. These words can be heard echoing through the hallways and byways, saying to us, “We are like shuttles on a loom. We join the threads of the past with threads of the future and we leave our own bright patterns and bright hope as they go along.” Let this message be our guiding light, as we look to enrich the lives of our all of our wonderful children in our community.
