By Guest Blogger Ellen Lloyd
As Gershwin wrote, “Summertime and the livin’ is easy!” Summer is finally here, signaling time for more relaxed schedules, fun times with family and friends and lots of time to enjoy great summer reads! Whether you enjoy lazy days by the pool or beach, go on long car rides, or relish relaxed time at home, make sure you always have lots of great books at hand. Consider encouraging family members to keep a reading log so you can compare notes of what you liked and would recommend to others, or even start a family book club and select a book to read and discuss together. Whatever you do, embrace all the delights of the summer months and the wonderful adventures and tales that await you in your summer reading!

Thanks for adding Posthumous to your awesome list. The book is selling like crazy in part because of lists like this! I see that you’re not doing the book giveaway this month. I would be happy to donate a copy of Posthumous or Brainwashed, the first book in the Crime Travelers series, which is a middle-grade action-adventure like the Bourne Identity but for kids! Let me know. 🙂 Thanks again. Paul
That sounds wonderful, Paul! We will email you. Thanks so much for finding us!!
Thanks for the shout-out to How to Babysit a Grandma. Happy summer, everyone!
Jean Reagan (the author)
You are quite welcome, Jean! We are so glad you found us and we love telling others about “How to Babysit a Grandma!”
Sam Hell is one of my favorite books! And I recently read Where the Crawdads Sing (because you recommended it a few months back) and loved it! I’m excited to dive into some of these other ones. Thank you for your suggestions!
