Buddy & Me Classes in the Triad

Buddy and Me

If you have a little one, especially a baby or toddler, it is often hard to find things for them to do outside the home. Enter ‘My Buddy & Me’ classes! These are a great way for parents, guardians, grandparents, etc. to enjoy fun activities and times with their littlest favorite buddies. Many also focus on helping littles to develop skills from motor skills to balance & strength.

Luckily, the Triad has so many fun options too! Linked is our Directory of  some we found and were told about through our Facebook Group. If you know of other ones in the Triad, please email kodia.tmom@gmail.com with the information so we can add it! *Disclaimer: This is list of actual classes only that involve both the adult and child, not meet ups that allow babies and toddlers. Please see our Triad Mom Groups and Meet-Ups Directory for those!*

Fall Themed Books for Kids
Fall Themed Books for Kids

While fall activities may keep you and your family on the go and the countdown to the holidays may be in the back of your mind, make sure to carve out plenty of downtime with your children. One great idea is to select fall-themed kid’s books to enjoy during reading time. Take advantage of the beautiful fall weather by spreading out a blanket and sitting under a tree full of fall colors while reading together, or pack a few books to bring along during a nature hike and take turns reading pages aloud during snack and water breaks. Below are some suggestions for fall-themed books for kids from preschool through third grade. Enjoy this season and all its splendor… as well as the many great books featuring autumn as the main character.
