Places to Celebrate Winter Birthdays

Fun Places to Celebrate Winter Birthdays in the Triad

It seems to be a universal fact that birthdays are extra special days, especially for kids. They enjoy waking up and feeling a little bigger, taller, and stronger (that comes with each birthday, after all!), ready for all the new adventures that being a year older will bring. They are also likely to be excited about celebrating with friends and family, not to mention having extra attention directed their way throughout the day.  If your child has a winter birthday, party ideas may seem more limited since outside events are not in the cards due to the weather. Fortunately, there are many great ideas for ways to celebrate winter birthdays, especially in the Triad. Here are some ideas and locations for celebrating another trip around the sun for your child.

Places to Celebrate Winter Birthdays

Children’s Museums

Hands-on-learning at children’s museums while celebrating your child’s big day is an absolute win-win! Fortunately, there are three children’s museums in the Triad, all with private party spaces you can reserve for your group and dedicated time for partygoers to enjoy all the exhibits. Please note that as of 2016, the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem and SciWorks merged to become Kaleidium, a children’s museum and science center all-in-one.
