Happy New Year! Major Events in History.
Happy New Year! When I sit and think about it, I honestly cannot comprehend that it is 2025. I remember writing papers in school about “the future” and what it would be like. We thought the future was 2000 and we would all be robots traveling in spaceships and time machines. Well, we flew past the year 2000 in no time and landed in 2025. Holy cow. More often than not, I think of an event and find myself saying, “Was that really 10 years ago? 20 years ago? It feels like just yesterday!” Well, case in point, I have compiled some fun major events in history for you so you can reminisce about the past and look forward to the future! Some more major than others.
Events in History
Major Events 10 Years Ago… 2015
– The Paris Agreement international treaty on climate change.
-The Supreme Court ruled that gay couples could marry nationwide.
-Bruce Jenner became Caitlyn Jenner.
-Tom Brady was accused of deflategate.
-NASA found evidence of water on Mars
-The blue and black or white and gold dress debate.
-Celeb breakups -Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, and Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner to name a few
-Streaming TV takes over
-The band One Direction breaks up
-“Hotline Bling” from Drake comes out.
-Kanye announced he was running for President

OK, we’ll stop there. I think going back 40 years will just send me over the edge realizing how old I am getting.
