Tech Toys
Did you know that Greensboro Public Library (GPL) offers both active and passive programming with Tech Toys? Youth can learn the basics of coding with Ozobots; try their hand at computer programming using Raspberry Pi; and explore circuitry with Makey Makey, Snap Circuits, or Squishy Circuits.  There are Virtual Reality (VR) Viewers, which can be attached to a smart phone or tablet and allow for virtual travel through space or time. Most locations have 3D Pens that allow youth to write or draw three dimensional objects. A few GPL locations have 3D printers that the public can use to print items for a nominal fee.
