Greensboro Ballet’s Storybook Tales

Have you ever been to the “ballet” before?
Here’s why you should go see Greensboro Ballet’s Storybook Tales this weekend:
- Beautiful, inspiring, and #fun entertainment at a reasonable price. Tickets for children are only $20!
- Invest back into your community! Your ticket purchases support a #local non-profit arts organization. Other ballets and theatrical productions available in our area often support artists from outside the Triad, outside NC, and even outside the U.S.
- Teach your children the value of experiencing a #live performance while creating a memory that lasts much longer than any digital entertainment can provide for your family.
March 22 at 2pm & 6:30pm
March 23 at 3pm at the Carolina Theatre

Day Trip to Omni Grove Park inn Spa

A day at the The Spa at The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville has always been on my wish list. Recently when trying to decide how to celebrate a big birthday (one that ends in 0!), my husband and I decided that Grove Park was exactly what we needed to do. Grove Park was definitely a splurge – but we thought the occasion called for it.

Day Trip to Recreation Acres

Taking a day trip to a playground may sound a little extreme. However, when a playground is as special as this one, it is well worth the trip! Recreation Acres in King is an all-inclusive, one-of-a-kind playground built in 2017. I saw a few photos posted on social media about a year ago and have been trying to find the right time to visit ever since. We were finally able to find a free morning a few weekends ago. And guess what, we have been back twice since!
48 State Road Trip

This blog is about a grand adventure that took the blogger a mere 46 days to do a 48 state road trip with her kids. A trip of this magnitude might take weeks or months plan, but now could be the perfect time to organize (and save money) for an adventure like this for summer.
