Newborn Resources in the Triad

This directory is sponsored by The Basics Guilford. The Basics are five science-based parenting and caregiving practices that can be used in everyday life to benefit young children in Guilford County. 80% of the brain develops by the time a child is 3 years old. The Basics help parents make the most of the time by focusing on how to: 1. Maximize Love, Manage Stress, 2. Talk, Sing and Point, 3. Count, Group and Compare, 4. Explore Through Movement and Play, and 5. Read and Discuss Stories. Follow them on FacebookInstagram, and TikTok.

Having a newborn in the house is never easy, and we all know how daunting it can be to learn the ropes as a new mom. Below you will find numerous categories dedicated to helping mothers of newborns get the support and services they need for newborns. From diapers to daycare – and from meet ups to music programs – we’ve got you covered. If you know of a service, store or group that you think should be added to this list, please email kodia.tmom@gmail.com and we’ll get it added. You can always find this newborn directory listed our Directories page here.
